I bought this car in 1997 from my grandfather for $300, and well worth it. It's gotten me from Denver, CO to Canton, NC, back to Denver, back to Canton, to New Jersey, Alabama, and lord knows where else. Sadly, I didn't know how to take care of cars when I had this car, and that probably led to its untimely screwups.

Bad transmission (ow)
Driver's window doesn't roll down
Hatchback doesn't stay up
No stereo (the one in the picture is only in there, not installed)
Turn signal inoperable
Alternator near death
Oil leak
Massive amounts of rust forming
Cruise control not working
and much more

I attempted to sell this car on eBay for $128 and got no bids, so I ended up selling it to my mother in law for $1.

I got one ticket in the Celebrity, for not having a state inspection sticker. The police officer told me it'd be about $35. Turned out to be $80.

Fun factoid: In 1999, the Chevrolet Celebrity was the 8th most stolen car in Columbus, OH, and the 6th most stolen car in Philadelphia, PA.
